Jaquan Jenkins

Jaquan Deandre “Quan” Jenkins, born on January 6, 1995, to Sam Jenkins and Sharon Watkins, was lovingly called home by God on July 24, 2024. Preceded in death by his mother, Jaquan's life was a testament to the love and strength of family.

Growing up in Monticello, Florida, Jaquan was nurtured by his mother, grandmother, and a close-knit circle of cousins, family, and friends. He graduated from Jefferson County High School with the Class of 2013, forming lasting bonds with his classmates. Jaquan had a deep affection for his family, especially his brothers and his cherished dog, who was a constant companion and will greatly miss him.

Jaquan leaves behind a beloved family to treasure his memory: his father, Sam Jenkins Jr. (Demethra), and his brothers Jashun Moore, Samuel Jenkins, Domonique Jenkins, and Alexander Jenkins. His uncles Edwin (Dianne) Keaton, Travis Keaton, Maurice Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Demetric Jenkins, Ricco (Jarma) Watkins, Horatio "Ray" Watkins, Reginald Watkins, Ferrell Watkins, Greg (Kelia) Watkins, and Kevin (Michelle) Watkins will hold his memory dear. He is also survived by his aunts Sandra Jenkins, Yolanda Watkins, and Agnes Watkins.

Jaquan's grandmother, Ernestine Keaton, and grandfather, Ed (Doris) Keaton, will always remember him fondly. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Johnson and Doris Watkins, whose love and guidance shaped his life, and brother Leon Williams.

Jaquan's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
