Jalesia Lashay Bryant

Jalesia Lashay Bryant, age 32, transitioned on Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Tallahassee, FL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Little Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Crawfordville, FL. A burial will follow at Crawford Cemetery in Crawfordville, FL.

A native of Tallahassee, Jalesia was a devoted and faithful member of Little Salem Primitive Baptist Church, where she served as a dedicated tithing member. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and pursued her passion for teaching as a second-grade teacher at Bond Elementary School in Tallahassee.

Jalesia loved spending time with her family and friends, and she especially cherished traveling with her beloved daughter, Aleeyah Pope.

She leaves behind her mother, Lois Hall, her father, Johnnie Bryant, and her godparents, Andre and Sandra Gaston. Jalesia is also survived by her siblings: her brother Sammy Knight; and her sisters Patrice, Johnlyn, Kiyanna, Tanisha, Johnaiye, Jarhia, and Johnrielle. She will be deeply missed by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jalesia's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
